Be part of the ISTE+ASCD AI Innovator Studio - where students design with purpose, educators find support, and communities benefit from innovation.

What is the AI Innovator Studio?

The AI Innovator Studio strengthens AI literacy while empowering students to use AI as a tool for creativity, problem-solving, and positive change while equipping teachers with the resources and community they need to guide innovation confidently.

Program Overview

 

Studio Phase:

  • Launch & Resources: Kickoff webinar and release of all Studio materials.
  • Lesson Use: 15 Studio lessons introduced in classrooms, clubs, and projects.
  • Support: Three webinars plus bi-weekly tips and prompts for educators.

Challenge Phase:

  • Kickoff & Resources: Launch webinar and Challenge materials released for teams and educators.
  • Design & Support: Students prototype while educators receive two webinars plus weekly tips and resources.
  • Submission & Review: Final submissions due March 13, 2026.

Showcase Phase:

  • Judging: Submissions are evaluated in April using the official Challenge rubric.
  • Selection: Winners announced in April, with top projects featured on the AI Innovator Studio website.
  • Celebration: Top three teams present live on the ISTE+ASCD global stage at ISTELive 26.
