The Edtech Teacher Certification is designed for K–12 classroom teachers who want to strengthen how students use technology to learn, not just what tools they use. It is ideal for educators responsible for designing, implementing, or assessing technology-integrated learning experiences aligned to the ISTE Student Standards, with a focus on student agency, creativity, collaboration, and responsible digital citizenship.
You'll complete seven online modules, each aligned to one ISTE Student Standard. In every module, you'll explore instructional strategies, reflect on your practice, and design a classroom lesson that demonstrates how your students are meeting the standard.
This is a competency-based certification, not a test-based one. You'll submit one artifact per module, evaluated using clear indicators and metrics aligned to the ISTE Standards for Students. Each submission receives actionable feedback from trained ISTE+ASCD evaluators.
